Our Care
Every family is different, which is why our care is never one-size-fits-all. We provide independent midwifery care that gives you the time, continuity and reassurance to make informed decisions throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Alongside our midwifery care we offer specialist infant feeding support to help your family get the best possible start.
Antenatal Care
We offer personalised appointments every 4 weeks until 28 weeks of pregnancy, fortnightly until 36 weeks, then weekly until your baby arrives.
At each visit, we offer to check your blood pressure, test your urine, and assess your baby’s growth and position. We take the time to understand your individual needs, talk through all your birth options, and support you in making informed choices.
Around 36 weeks, we offer an extended birth preparation session to explore what to expect during labour and birth, how to plan for different scenarios, and how to prepare for the early postnatal period. If you need any obstetric input during your pregnancy, we’re happy to support you through that process.

Antenatal and Birth Care
Combine antenatal care and birth support to ensure you’re cared for by midwives you already know and trust.
We are on call for you from 37 weeks of pregnancy until your baby is born.
Wherever you choose to give birth — at home or in hospital — we’ll be by your side until you’re safely tucked up with your baby.
If you plan a home birth, two midwives will be present. If you're birthing in hospital, and if appropriate, we can offer early labour assessment at home to help you decide when to travel in.
Complete Care Package
Our most comprehensive care option:

- Full antenatal care throughout your pregnancy
- On-call support from 37 weeks until your baby is born
- Labour and birth support at home or in hospital
- Breastfeeding preparation session

Postnatal Care
We offer bespoke postnatal care for the first 2, 3 or 4 weeks after birth, depending on your preferences and needs.
Our visits support both your physical and emotional recovery and include newborn wellbeing checks, weighing, and feeding support. We also carry out the newborn blood spot test.
We visit frequently during the first week to help you and your baby get off to the best start, with visits gradually reducing as your confidence builds and you settle into life with your baby.
Postnatal Care Package
- Unhurried care in your own home from an experienced midwife
- Frequent visits for 2, 3 or 4 weeks
- Wellbeing checks for both mother and baby
- Specialist infant feeding support from a qualified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
- Newborn bloodspot screening and baby weighing
- Tongue tie assessment and division (if needed)
- Guidance with newborn care
- WhatsApp support with your dedicated midwife for reassurance or questions

Tongue Tie & Infant Feeding Support
As a qualified Tongue Tie Practitioner and Lactation Consultant, Emily provides home and clinic appointments for feeding support, tongue tie assessments, and division (frenulotomy).
Appointments include a full feeding history, a tongue function assessment, and if required a division of the tongue tie.
Virtual support is available after the appointment and included in the fee.

Whether you're planning a home birth or receiving care through your chosen NHS maternity unit, we offer dedicated continuity of care throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. We regularly support families receiving maternity care through Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Kingston Hospital and Royal Berkshire Hospital, as well as many other maternity units throughout the region.
